I expected a proper, refreshing stay, but the housekeeping needs some serious training, as I found cereal and goldfish under the bed. The lobby was definitely not what I’d call welcoming either. For the price, I thought I’d at least get a nice room upgrade, but apparently that’s asking for too much. Almost left a good review but just couldn’t.

This summer holiday, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious our king suite was compared to the pictures online. The breakfast had a solid selection, which we appreciated before heading out to dinosaur valley park. My previous stay in Glen Rose didn’t compare to the comfort and cleanliness we experienced here.
the pool towels were too flimsy.

This place was just an excellent fit for a stopover in Glen Rose with real value for money. The breakfast could use some variety, but it filled us up for the day. Try to ask for a room away from the elevator for a quieter stay.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our stay for one night. The hotel was clean, but housekeeping missed our room on both days. The breakfast had potential, but eggs were a bit crumbly. Be prepared to grab extra towels from the front desk if needed. A fun local golf tournament added some excitement!

The front desk staff provided excellent assistance with local attractions, enhancing our stay and ensuring we felt welcome. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, offering a refreshing retreat after a day of exploring. Unfortunately, our room had stained sheets and remnants of crumbs on the desk, indicating that housekeeping could improve. Additionally, the closet contained a dirty towel, which detracted from the overall experience. Breakfast was decent, but lacking in variety, leaving us wanting more options.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the nearby Dinosaur Valley Park, and overall, the experience was quite pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the presence of a coffee maker and refrigerator in our room. However, it was disappointing that the breakfast options remained the same both mornings, which could use more variety. Additionally, there was a bit of confusion at check-in regarding our room assignment, but the staff handled it well and quickly provided us with a different room.

The staff were super friendly and even made us goodie bags for an eclipse event which was a sweet surprise. The breakfast had a good variety, I especially liked the turkey sausage which was hard to find elsewhere, made the mornings easier for my family.
It was a bit on the pricey side but overall decent.
